Sarah has worked in politics for over a decade and in political communications for nearly as long. She has served elected officials at the municipal, provincial and federal levels and worked on provincial and federal election and leadership campaigns since 2008.
Sarah has extensive experience in all aspects of communications. From planning and implementing complex rollouts of Government policy and programs and generating written content to preparing ministers for public appearances, committee appearance and media interviews, to managing issues and media relations. She has communicated on a wide range of files from research and innovation to employment and labour to digital government in addition to broader government communications initiatives.
As a former director of communications to cabinet ministers, Sarah has managed teams and worked with stakeholders and the media to generate positive awareness about initiatives and priorities. She combines this broad experience with a creative approach to provide practical and actionable communications advice and strategies.
